Which states are supported by Weedetect?
Weedetect currently supports licenses in California, utilizing the METRC API for this state. As we continue to expand, we aim to support licenses in additional states. Stay tuned for updates as we extend our services to more states.
What does Weedetect do?
Weedetect identifies and resolves discrepancies between your source data and Metrc. It helps ensure that your data is accurate, highlighting inconsistencies such as mismatched plant batch counts, sales transactions, inventory packages, and even records missing entirely.
How often should I use Weedetect?
Per California state regulations, the license holder must review the information recorded in the track and trace system at least once every 30 calendar days to ensure accuracy. We recommend performing audits more frequently, to catch discrepancies early.
How does Weedetect identify discrepancies?
Users upload CSV files exported from their source platform. Weedetect then compares this data against Metrc, identifying any discrepancies and generating detailed reports for your review.
Who can benefit from using Weedetect?
Whether you're operating a single cannabis dispensary, or a vertically-integrated cannabis enterprise, Weedetect is for you. Weedetect currently only supports cannabis operators in California, but we will expand to other states soon. If you would like access and operate outside of California, please contact us.
